Meet the Team

Why We Said Yes

For Michelle and Heather, it wasn’t just about joining a ministry—it was about answering a call. Drawn to the heart of New Mornings, they saw the power of faith, community, and second chances in action. Inspired by the opportunity to walk alongside people impacted by the justice system, they stepped in to be part of something bigger: helping restore lives and renew hope through the love of Jesus.

Their journey has deepened their compassion and strengthened their belief in the transformative work of grace. Each relationship they build becomes a testament to God's redeeming love. Together, they're witnessing how healing begins when people feel seen, valued, and supported.

Our Volunteers

New Mornings volunteers play a vital role in supporting the prison ministry by providing encouragement, spiritual guidance, and practical resources to incarcerated individuals. Through regular visits, letter writing, prayer support, and organizing care packages, volunteers help build trust, foster hope, and offer a sense of connection to those often overlooked. Their compassionate presence not only strengthens faith but also empowers individuals to envision and work toward a renewed life beyond prison walls
